Frequently Asked Questions

When will I receive my order?

Orders usually ship within 2-4 business days. If your order is taking longer than this, we will email you to let you know. Once shipped, the domestic shipping via First Class USPS typically takes 2 – 3 business days to reach your door.

How should I care for my jewelry?

To keep your silver pieces clean and shiny, keep a polishing cloth in your jewelry box and give it a quick rub before wearing it. You can find polishing cloths at your local jeweler or online. Keeping silver and gold plated jewelry in a sealed zip lock bag drastically slows the tarnishing process, since the metal it is not exposed to the air.

Do you wholesale your jewelry?

Absolutely. If you own a retail store and are interested in carrying Prasada jewelry, contact us to learn about our wholesale program.

What is the cost of shipping?

For all domestic orders, shipping is $7. Contact us for international shipping options.

What materials do you use?

Most of our products feature sterling silver (92.5% silver), Hill Tribe silver (98% silver) from Thailand, 14K Gold plating (over sterling silver), gemstones, and glass. Each product description on our website lists the materials used so you’re sure to know what you are getting.

What is Hill Tribe silver?

Villagers deep in the mountains of northern and southwestern Thailand hand-craft this high quality silver. These silver smiths belong to the Karen Hill Tribes, and they use centuries-old tribal methods that are passed down from generation to generation. Hill Tribe silver contains a higher content of silver than Sterling Silver (about 98% purity, compared with 92.5% purity). Since each piece is created individually by hand, there are slight variations, making every single piece a unique expression of art. The Karen Hill Tribes believe that powerful energy resides in all natural phenomena, which is why their charms and beads reflect elements of nature. Purchasing Hill Tribe silver supports tribal communities that have few options for sustainable income.
